The University is committed to ensuring that research activities involving biological hazards or the use of drugs or poisons are conducted safely.
All students and staff members who are working with biological materials or regulated substances must follow risk management processes outlined within the Biosafety Framework and/or the Substance Management Plan.
Research workers (including undergraduate and postgraduate students) should be familiar with the various approval and certification processes required in each of these frameworks.
