Computer Systems Engineering
USQ's Computer Systems Engineering programs are closely aligned with state of the art micro-processor and digital communication technologies. As a USQ graduate, you will acquire the knowledge and skills that would launch your career in industrial computer network design, computer system security management, the design of systems with embedded micro-controllers and the design of computer games or simulators such as flight simulators.
- You will have access to state of the art laboratories such as the Computer Networking Laboratory, the Micro-processor and Digital Signal Processor Laboratory and the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) Laboratory.
- USQ has extensive links with industry and you will have the opportunity to complete practical projects allowing you to gain valuable practical hands-on experience while you are still studying. Final year projects have included an Intelligent Vision System for Wildlife Monitoring, Topology Issues in Wireless Underground Sensor Networks, and Reducing Road Fatalities through Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks.
