Project Management and IP - IP Commercialisation Workshop Series

In many projects it is likely that the University and our collaborators may bring existing IP, create new IP and possibly introduce new IP created independently of the project. Maintaining appropriate mechanisms for identifying, recording and managing IP is a crucial part of good IP management practice.

This session will provide practical tips on tracking what collaborators bring to the project (background IP) and the project outcomes (new IP). It will touch on the use of Lab Books, IP Assignment Deeds and IP Registers.
